1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the AutoRelated platform at autorelated.ca (the "Service"), you agree to these Terms. These apply to all visitors and users, including car owners ("Consumers") and the independent automotive professionals, sole operators, mobile technicians, and repair workshops who offer services through the platform (collectively, "Providers").
2. Description of Service
AutoRelated is a marketplace platform connecting car owners with independent automotive professionals and repair workshops for body work, mechanical repairs, tires, electrical work, maintenance, windshield and glass, detailing, towing, and other automotive services. We are an intermediary, not a repair service provider. We are not responsible for the quality, safety, or legality of services provided by Providers.
3. User Accounts
3.1 Account Creation
You must provide accurate information. You may register using email or third-party auth (Google).
3.2 Account Security
You are responsible for safeguarding credentials.
3.3 Account Termination
We may suspend or terminate accounts at our discretion.
4. User Responsibilities
4.1 For Consumers

- Communicate honestly
- Honor commitments
- Make timely payments
4.2 For Providers
- Provide accurate business info
- Submit honest estimates
- Deliver services as described
- Maintain licenses and insurance
- Comply with laws
5. Prohibited Conduct
- No unlawful use
- No impersonation
- No false information
- No interference with Service
- No unauthorized access
- No bots/scrapers
- No harassment
- No objectionable content
6. Fees and Launch Pricing
6.1 Free During Launch
During our Edmonton launch period, access to the Service is provided to Providers free of charge. No payment method is required to register or to use Provider features.
6.2 Introducing Fees
We may introduce fees for Providers after the launch period. We will give at least 30 days' written notice to the email address on your account before any fee takes effect.
6.3 No Automatic Charges
No Provider will be charged without first affirmatively agreeing to a paid plan. If you do not accept a paid plan, your account will revert to a free plan, which may offer limited features compared to the launch period. If no free plan is available at that time, your account will become inactive rather than be charged.
6.4 No Commission
AutoRelated charges no commission on work arranged through the Service. If this changes, sections 6.2 and 6.3 apply.
7. Estimates and Transactions
Estimates are for informational purposes and may change upon inspection. AutoRelated does not guarantee accuracy. Final pricing agreed directly between Consumer and Provider. AutoRelated is not party to any transaction.
8. Intellectual Property
The Service and its content are owned by AutoRelated and protected by IP laws.
9. User Content
By submitting content, you grant AutoRelated a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use it in connection with the Service.
10. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND.
11. Limitation of Liability
AUTORELATED SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES.
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless AutoRelated from claims arising from your use.
13. Governing Law
Laws of the Province of Alberta, Canada. Courts in Alberta have exclusive jurisdiction.
14. Changes to Terms
We may modify these Terms with 30 days notice for material changes.
